What a fantastic family day out at Wrangle Show 2026!

What an incredible day we had at Wrangle Show 2026! From 10am until 5pm, the show field was buzzing with activity, entertainment and smiles, with something for everyone to enjoy.

The day began in our main arena with our ever-popular school sports, where pupils from Wrangle Primary School, Friskney All Saints Primary School and Gipsey Bridge Academy competed in a series of fun sporting events. Every child who took part received a medal, show bag, sweets and water bottle, making them winners on the day! Overall Gibsey Bridge were crowned the winners!

Next, Fens Falconry captivated the crowds with their spectacular display of birds of prey. One of the feathered stars was a little bit mischievous during the first display - but that's all part and of the excitement of working with such magnificent birds. The adrenaline soon ramped up as Stannage International Stunt Team wowed spectators with their breath-taking, death-defying motorcycle stunts. Their incredible skill, precision and bravery made for an unforgettable performance that had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Over on the stage, we proudly introduced the very first Wrangle’s Got Talent competition. Three fantastic local performers—Lily Cowell, Jaibel Danby and Kriss Alucard—performed in two rounds, with the audience deciding who would become the first-ever Wrangle’s Got Talent Superstar 2026.
Congratulations to Jaibel Danby from Wrangle, whose stunning rendition of Whitney Houston earned her the title, £100 prize money kindly sponsored by Mike Reading Plumbing & Heating, and the opportunity to open our stage in 2027. Lily Cowell finished a very close second, winning £50 kindly sponsored by Duckworths Motors, while Kriss Alucard took third place and won tickets to Skegness Pier. The competition was a huge success, and we can’t wait to bring it back next year!

The entertainment continued with local rock band CrossFire, who had the crowd singing along to well-loved rock classics, followed by the wonderful Coastal Community Choir, who took us on a musical journey with a fantastic selection of songs.

Inside the marquee, visitors admired hundreds of competition entries covering a huge variety of classes—from fresh eggs to intricate twig sculptures. One of the standout attractions was Class 30, where competitors created statues of Julia Donaldson book characters up to five feet tall. The incredible entries included the Witch from Room on the Broom, Zog, Stick Man, the Highway Rat, Superworm and Mr & Mrs Scarecrow. The marquee also featured a wonderful selection of local craft stalls and demonstrations from the Boston Spinners.

Around the showground there was plenty more to enjoy. FireFly Aerial amazed visitors with beautifully choreographed aerial performances and circus skills workshops, while Evergreens Miniature Railway delighted families throughout the day. The ever-popular Boston Dancing Witches also returned, entertaining the crowds with another spectacular performance in the main arena.

The team from Kuk Sool Won showcased an impressive display of martial arts, demonstrating strength, discipline and skill that earned plenty of applause from the audience.

Our dog lovers were spoilt for choice, with both the ever-popular Fun Dog Show and, new for 2026, the BarbieBulls Dog Show, organised by Abby Coote and Nick Blackwell. Competitors travelled from across the UK—and even overseas—to take part. The rings were busy all day, with dogs of every shape, size and breed joining in the fun.

The Heavy Horse Show welcomed a record number of entries this year, with some magnificent horses and talented handlers on display. 

Across the showground we welcomed a fantastic variety of trade stands and food vendors including the North Holland Young Farmers BBQ. They were kept so busy throughout the day that some even sold out completely! 

Visitors also enjoyed browsing the impressive collection of classic cars, vintage tractors and veteran cycles. The iconic Pink Fergie tractor proved as popular as ever and will be making another appearance in a few weeks’ time at the Lincolnshire Ladies Tractor Run.

The feedback we’ve received since the show has been absolutely overwhelming, with many people telling us it was the best Wrangle Show yet. Hearing such wonderful comments makes all the hard work worthwhile, and we’re delighted that so many people had such an enjoyable day.

Finally, none of this would have been possible without our amazing committee and volunteers. They dedicate countless hours behind the scenes throughout the year, giving up their own time, knowledge and expertise to make Wrangle Show the success that it is.
